When unlocking the phone it takes a solid 6 seconds to actually get into the phone. When using a PIN it takes several taps at the OK for it to unlock, if you only tap it once itll go back to black. I'm wondering if I should switch to this ROM. I've been using WalkerBlue for the entire life of my J7. And it's really just to use sound mods like Viper. I'm really just wondering if I switch to this will I be able to install and use sound mods? WalkerBlue is quite dated now and it never was completely bug free so just need someone to comment and finalize my reasoning to switch! I was also really hoping to some more kernels come out for this phone but at this point I'm just happy some devs are breathing life into this again 😃 From what I have noticed it seems to be a nougat bug for our phone specifically. Every single nougat rom with our phone, including stock 7.1.1 and the 7.0 ROMs from international j7 ROMs have this little bug. Best advice #Kairosin is after typing pin, password,or pattern tap the recents key to speed it up a few seconds. Other option is to just tap the screen so it doesn't go black. I'm sorry that's all I got for you. It is a pain, but no real fix for it. ---------- Post added at 11:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:20 PM ---------- Whoa dude you are way outdated😋.it was a great rom, but we have nougat 7.1.1 and 7.0 and about 6 ROMs. Inside those ROMs we have about 3 kernels.u can interchange them but this ROMs kernel is a beast and the best period. As long as u have a permissive kernel u can install any audio mod. I advise flashing zenOS, installing magisk via aroma and then one of the ahrion sound mods in magisk. Revolution is great but zenOS is the more amazing beefed up out of the ROMs. Did u ever update to stock nougat when it came out? U have to flash to the stock that your baseband says under about phone. Using Odin. Then u take a couple OVer the air updates and voila you are nougat.then u install TWRP again and flash one from the buffet of ROMs. This kernel will give u about a day and a half of battery btw.

Samsung Messages- force closes, some framework probs, haven't had time to fix yet, disable and download android's native messaging application(its way better imo.) Toast # boot- a quick toast whenever you boot the phone says "not allowed MM6.0" it doesn't seem to affect anything at all, just visible at boot for a split second. Its something mapcon related and it follows the very first boot with a text stating your IMEI. Again doesn't affect anything. If anyone can find a fix for this please share i welcome the help. Xposed- Xposed is installed but it is my first time pre-installing xposed and i left something out, so when u boot up, you have to allow it to update via installer; OR Alternately, flash wanam xposed 87.1 zip during install right after rom before 1st boot. It takes longer than most of my ROMs to first boot so make sure u are waiting long enough..Your phone is the j700T/ T1? And u are wiping all but internal and external?

I have the g550t1 and have been looking for a stable Rom as this is my daily driver. does the camera work? Well, just for the record, I installed it on the 550T1 and the camera does not work, nor does the sound. If you can live without those, it's probably a decent ROM. After flashing this rom, whenever I lower brightness to zero screen become black and then I have to factory reset my phone every time. So please help me out. Apparently not quite ready for daily driver status, lol i am not able to flash the rom properly ... after installation gets successful on restarting phone my phone screen gets blank after on5 name screen .... then no further response... can anyone provide me a solution or please tell me if there is any chance of flashing the rom via odin I flashed the ROM as instructed. Although it took several minutes to get past the Samsung splash screen, it booted up to a very attractive UI. The camera and sound, however, do not work at all. You are aware the smartphones are supposed to have these features, no? Are we missing something? Is there something else I should download? I am unable to use any of the three.
