Downloading a Facebook Account to an IPhone
Accessing Facebook for Desktop From an IPhone
When you visit Facebook from the Safari browser on an iPhone, you're automatically directed to the site's mobile version. From your account screen, tap the “Settings” button to display the sidebar, then select “Desktop Site” from the menu. From the desktop site, tap the “Account Settings” button and choose “Settings.” The General Account Settings page is displayed, and you can download your account profile by tapping “Download a Copy of Your Facebook Data” and following the instructions. Facebook sends a message to your email account notifying you that your download is ready. Follow the link in the email to return to the download page, then tap “Download Archive” to view your data from your iPhone. The archive is stored in your Web browser's cache, so you can't access the data after initially downloading it. When the download finishes, tap “Open In” and choose an application with which to view your data. If you have a cloud storage application -- such as Dropbox, Google Drive or SkyDrive -- installed on your iPhone, you can select it from the menu to store the ZIP archive in the cloud, enabling you to access the data from your account at a later time.
