Download jagged alliance 2 1.13 mod

I love this game and figure I’d give the mod s try, but I’m not sure where to go to download. Anyone know where it’s available?

I've always downloaded mine from the official PBWorks page. It's always been reliable:

You can always get the most up to date version from Depris' builds at the bear pit. They're classified as unstable, but I've never had anymore problems with them compared to the stable releases.

for whatever reason when I go to download any of the files at th Bear Pit I just get a 7z file and I'm not exactly sure what to do with that.

The site also doesn't have clear instructions but I admit I am computer illiterate. :)

I will actually try the other link above tonight and report back. Spent over 2 hours last night trying it the Bear pit way to no such luck

Get WinRAR, that software will unpack 7z files. 7-zip files just compressed files like .zip files but Windows won't open them.

If you want an easy install I'd really recommend using the PBWorks link above and following their installation instructions here:

That will give you a definitive 1.13 experience. Depris' builds are additions to the 1.13 mod and can be buggy and/or complicated to set up. You can always get the latest build once you've played 1.13.

I actually had a little time this morning and it looks like I was able to download from your link above. Thank you!!!!

Now I just need to follow the instructions. Any idea if the files work on the regular version of the game or is it strictly for 1.13? I’ve never tried 1.13 and may want to brush up on the original if possible but not a big deal either way.

If you want to play vanilla, install the game and play before installing 1.13

If you want to play JA2 v1.13, install the downloaded file as per instructions and play.

I'd highly recommend playing vanilla first. Then you'll be able to appreciate 1.13 for all it's worth.

Sorry I forgot to mention I heard that in order to run the vanilla version you need a compatibility folder in the data file. I can't seem to get my vanilla version to run.

I figured since I'd need to down the 1.13 mod I would just try that, but I may try to just get both to work.
