Download email attachments from Mail on iCloud.com
A message that contains an attachment has a paper clip icon to the right of the sender’s name in the message list.
If you receive an email with an attachment (a file), you can open the file after downloading it to your computer. If the attachment is a Pages, Numbers, or Keynote document, you can download it or just open it in Pages, Numbers, or Keynote for iCloud. If the attachment is a vCard file, which has a filename ending with .vcf, you can add the contact information it contains to your contacts.
Large attachments can be delivered by Mail Drop if the sender has turned it on and is using Mail on iCloud.com. You don’t need to have Mail Drop turned on to receive these attachments. You can download attachments from Mail Drop for 30 days after they’re sent.
If you want to use Mail Drop to send your own attachments, see “Turn on Mail Drop for large attachments” in Add an email attachment in Mail on iCloud.com.

Click Open in [App] to open the document in the editor window of Pages, Numbers, or Keynote for iCloud.
