Thanks for this. I've never really understood these ratios before and pretty much ignored them. 'Understanding Sailboat Design Ratios' explains them really well by comparing two different cruising yachts. And now I've put my own boat's numbers into the 'Interactive Sailboat Design Ratio Calculator' I can see in turn how it compares with other cruising yachts I considered purchasing.
