Ostensibly it is a much cleaner, simplified version of the classic uTorrent application, but with a few improvements. You can now search from within the application, allowing you to find the files you're looking for without leaving the app. If you already have your magnet link or torrent file, you can simply drag and drop it into the app to begin downloading. In the case of media, such as video files, you can stream the content directly from the app itself. The interface is simple, and seems geared toward appealing to a less tech savvy audience than would normally be associated with torrenting.
Not For Power Users
uTorrent Web has done well to make the application more accessible over the classic version, however there are some trade offs. Many features are missing, such as port control, tracker management, and bandwidth scheduling to name a few. As this is a web client, it also requires you to have your browser open to use.
